Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic possessing unique properties against important gram negative and gram positive organisms. The source of gentamicin is a strain of Microsporum purpurea.
Gentamicin has high activity against a wide range of bacteria has established an important place in human and veterinary therapeutics such as:
Escherichia coli. E. Coli (B-lactamase positive), Salmonela spp.. Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus spp, Brodetella brochiseptica,
Staphylococcus aureus Staphylococcus aureus (B lactamase positive, Streptococcus agalactiae, Corynebacterium pyogens.
Indications:
Gentacure-10 is indicated for the treatment of Gentamicin sensetive infections in horses, dogs and cats: Dogs:
Urinary tract infections: cystitis and nephritis.
Respiratory tract infections: tonsilitis, pneumonia, and tracheobronchitis Skin and soft tissues: pyodermatitis.
wounds, lacerations, and peritonitis.
Cats
Urinary tract infections: cystitis and nephritis.
Respiratory tract infections: pneumonitis, pneumonia, and upper tract infections.
