Indication
For active immunization of healthy dogs, cats and ferrets 3 months of age and older, horses, cattle and sheep 2 months of age and older against rabies.
Dosage
1 mL dose, regardless of the species, size and age of animal. Dogs, cats: 1 injection from 12 weeks of age. Ferrets: 1 injection from 3 months of age. Horses - <6 months: 1 injection from 4 months of age followed by a 2nd injection 1 month after; 6 months of age: 1 injection. Cattle, sheep - <9 months: 1 injection from 4 months of age followed by a 2nd injection between 9 and 12 months of age; 9 months of age: 1 injection. Boosters: annually.
Precautions
Vaccinate only healthy animals, correctly wormed at least 10 days before vaccination.
Side Effects
Presence of aluminum hydroxide may sometimes induce formation of a small transient nodule at injection site. Vaccination may reveal state of hypersensitivity. In such a case, symptomatic treatment should be provided.
